We love our goats! Our Kabrita Dutch Saanen goats are lively and curious, known for their luxurious white coats and mild-tasting milk, naturally rich in fat and protein. They thrive in our farmer’s spacious, light-filled barns, enjoying a calm environment with soothing music. With plenty of fresh air and care, our goats are happy and healthy, lovingly looked after by over 100 passionate farmers.

Dutch Qualigoat

The Dutch quality requirements for goat milk are higher than those set by the European Union. We ensure the quality of our goat milk in several ways. All our goat farmers are part of QualiGoat, the national quality system for goat milk farming, and all farmers meet our own strict standards.

We control each step of the supply chain

We control the whole supply chain. After milking, the milk is stored in refrigerated tanks. All our partner farms are conveniently located within a maximum 2.5-hour distance from the Kabrita factory, ensuring the milk retains its maximum nutritional value and impeccable taste and tested by an independent lab to meet all regulatory standards.

Our newest eco-friendly factory

Kabrita is a proud brand of Ausnutria, which operates five factories in the Netherlands. Our oldest factory, located in Kampen, was established in 1903, followed by the Lypack factory in 1912—both with over a century of history. While we honor this rich legacy, we continue to innovate, having built three new factories in Heerenveen. In 2024, our newest factory in Heerenveen became the largest gasless,CO₂-emission-free powder factory in the world, featuring state-of-the-art technology.

Our final Kabrita infant formula undergoes multiple inspections by experts and independent labs. With over 90 quality checks, our system exceeds Europe and international standards. Products leave the factory only after passing quarantine and final inspection, guaranteeing the high standards for quality you can trust.
